Important changes to Community Network’s Teleconferencing Services

Since 1990 Community Network has been providing teleconferencing services to support our charitable work bringing people together to tackle the devastating effects of social isolation and loneliness on health and well-being, as well as providing a valuable service to many organisations.

We are proud of the high quality service we provide to a range of not-for-profit organisations and are very pleased to announce a new partnership with The Phone Co-op

On 1st July 2013 Community Network’s Teleconferencing Service was transferred to The Phone Co-op. They will run all of the teleconferencing services currently provided by us allowing us to focus on our charitable efforts to alleviate social isolation. We believe this partnership will enhance opportunities to develop the teleconferencing service ensuring it continues to meet your communication needs in a rapidly changing technological environment. Under the terms of our agreement, Community Network will receive a share of revenue when you use the service, enabling us to fund our charitable work.

The Phone Co-op is an independent consumer co-operative providing award-winning telecommunications and internet services for business and residential customers since 1998. Their customers include many charities, co-operatives, and other Third Sector organisations, as well as public and private sector bodies. The quality and reliability of The Phone Co-op’s services was recognised last year when they were granted the right to use The Co-operative brand. Their strong social values are in line with Community Network’s vision and mission and we are confident that in their hands our teleconferencing service will thrive and develop.

On a day to day level you will see few changes to your teleconferencing service. The friendly team who work hard to ensure all of our teleconferences run smoothly remain the same following the transfer on 1st July.
